• Complete abdominal ultrasound (includes written report of imaging findings and medical consultation regarding next steps)

• Ultrasound of subcutaneous and intramuscular masses +/- Needle aspiration

• Cervical ultrasound

• Musculoskeletal ultrasound

• Thoracocentesis, abdominocentesis

• Fine needle aspiration of subcutaneous, intra-abdominal, thoracic (pleural, pericardial, or mediastinal) masses

• Tru-Cut biopsy collection of abdominal tissues

Note: In the interest of utmost safety, an abbreviated coagulation test is performed before any sampling that is considered to carry a risk of significant hemorrhage.
